Football and Cheer sign ups begin April 1st 2024

  • Will there be any travel?
    In short, yes. We play in a school based league, which means we play nearby schools to prepare for the next step. We will play Poteau, Van Buren, Sallisaw, Greenwood and Bentonville. We will play at their field every other year.
  • Where is our home field?
    Grizzly Cubs home field is at Northside High School.
  • When does the season begin?
    The actual season begins the first week of August. The games will begin the first week of September and go until the last week of October.
  • What should I expect to pay for?
    Your child will need the following items: *Helmet *Chin guard *Practice Jersey *Practice pants *Football Cleats Note: If your child is placed on a team after the deadline, you may be responsible providing all equipment needed for your child to participate.
  • Will my child need a physical to participate?
    No
  • When does practice begin?
    Regular season practice begins the first week of August, however, your child's coach may choose to get an early start during the summer months of June and July. These practices are not mandatory but they may be offered if the coaches are available. Note: You will not need to contact us, your team mom will contact you! In season, football practice is at the discretion of each coach. Practice typically run 3 - 4 days a week from 5:30 - 7:30 for the month of August. The times could change, depending on the coach.
  • When is the registration cutoff?
    July 1st for cheer August 12th for football
  • Do you offer refunds?
    Refunds are issued within the first week of August. We give every parent one week to try the program out and see if it is something that they would like to continue. If they decide within that week that they are not interested, a full refund will be issued. After the seven days, there will be no refunds issued, as funding will already be used to support the organization. Note: Refunds may be given if a child's team doesn't make or if certain tragedy occurs. Each case will be reviewed.
  • Why can't I get the website to pull up?
    Many times, refreshing your page or making sure you use www. will help pull the site up. If problems persist, contact us and we will attempt to help you troubleshoot.
  • What does the registration fee cover?
    The registration fee covers several items to use during the season. Items include, one game jersey, game pants, shoulder pads, helmet decals and one mouthpiece. Note: If your child is placed on a team after the deadline, you may be responsible providing all equipment needed for your child to participate.
  • My child has special needs, can he/she play?
    In the instance of special needs, we review each case to make sure that our coaches are equipped to handle the desired need. Remeber, our coaches our coaches may not be trained in your childs particular need so we would like to back sure that we can be more helpful than hurtful before we take on each child depending on the special need.
  • When will the 1st and 2nd grase schedule be released?
    There are no official dates as to when season schedules are released. There are many factors that effect the a schedules release. Expect the schedue to be released around mid to late August.
  • What is the cost of registration?
    Early bird registration is $57 and is ends June 1st Late registration is $77
  • What does the registration for go towards?
    The registration fee is what it cost to play for the organization. In comparison to many other organizations, we believe the cost is beyond generous. As an organization, we reserve the right to do whatever we deem necessary with the fee's in order to first help the organization thrive. Our ultimate goal is to make sure that our players, coaches, team moms, directors and other workers have what the need to succeed in the overall goal of providing a phenomenal activity!
  • What happens after I register?
    Your child will be added to a team roster. Note: your child will not be able to officially participate (once the season starts) until the registration is paid. You will added to our Remind app. Remind is app you will need to download in order to receive instant updates. You can also keep an eye on both the website and the our Facebook page.
  • What are your payment options?

  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
